1. General Provisions

- Eligibility: By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are purchasing hampers containing alcohol, both the sender and the recipient must be over the legal drinking age in Sri Lanka.
2. Product Information & Substitutions
- Accuracy: We strive to ensure all descriptions and images are accurate. However, slight variations in packaging or contents may occur.
- Substitutions: Due to the seasonal nature of gourmet items and flowers, Hamper Colombo reserves the right to substitute an out-of-stock item with a product of equal or greater value without prior notice, ensuring the overall aesthetic and quality are maintained.
- Props: Any decorative props used in photography (e.g., glassware, cloths, or furniture) are not included unless explicitly listed in the product description.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Currency: All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise.
- Payment Methods: We accept secure online payments via credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Orders will only be processed once full payment is verified.
- Errors: In the event of a pricing error on the website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
4. Delivery Terms
- Recipient Details: The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Hamper Colombo is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or contact numbers provided by the sender.
- Acceptance: It is preferred that someone is available to receive the hamper. For hampers containing perishable goods (e.g., fresh fruit or cheese), responsibility for the item passes to the recipient upon delivery.
- Delays: While we strive for punctuality, we are not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather, traffic conditions, or other “Force Majeure” events.
5. Cancellations & Returns
- Perishable Goods: Due to health and safety regulations, hampers containing food, beverages, or flowers cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered.
- Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled with a full refund if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time.
- Damages: Any claims regarding damaged items must be reported to +94 76 288 2262 within 4 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, logos, and images featuring Dr. LJ or Hamper Colombo products, is the intellectual property of Hamper Colombo. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hamper Colombo and its founder, Dr. LJ, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or the inability to use our website.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo.
