At Hamper Colombo, we understand that a gift represents your sentiments. That is why we treat every delivery with the same precision and care that Dr. LJ brings to every professional endeavor. We aim to ensure your hamper arrives in pristine condition and on time.
Shipping & Delivery
1. Delivery Areas
We currently specialize in deliveries within Colombo and Greater Colombo (Districts 1–15 and select suburbs). This allows us to maintain the integrity and freshness of our premium products, particularly those containing perishable gourmet items.
2. Delivery Timelines
- Standard Delivery: 1–2 business days.
- Same-Day Delivery: Available for orders placed before 11:00 AM (subject to availability and location).
- Scheduled Delivery: You may select a specific date for birthdays, anniversaries, or corporate events during checkout.
3. Delivery Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the distance from our central hub in Colombo.
4. Handling & Care
Every hamper is transported in climate-controlled conditions where necessary. Our delivery partners are trained to handle “Fragile” luxury goods to ensure the presentation remains exactly as it was when it left our studio.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the curated and often perishable nature of our gift hampers (including food items and flowers), we have a specific policy to ensure safety and quality:
1. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If a gift arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 4 hours of delivery.
- Please provide a photograph of the damage and the order number.
- Dr. LJ’s Guarantee: We will promptly replace the damaged item or the entire hamper at no additional cost to you.
2. Cancellations
- Standard Orders: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.
- Custom/Corporate Orders: Once a custom-curated order has entered the assembly phase, we cannot offer a full refund, though we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Opened food or beverage items.
- Perishable goods (such as fresh flowers or fruits).
- Personalized/Bespoke items.
